Farsight

I’m back in my university environment, although lectures only start from march. My voyage through SE Asia is over, is was a unique experience worth every day, but it’s in the past. Coming back into a Seoul that is still very cold but not intolerable anymore, and that is slowly getting brighter and warmer from now on, I somehow feel like the end of this whole exchange year of mine is near.

A cause for this feeling might also be the fact that I pretty much planned all of my next semester already: The courses are registered, the places I want to visit are determined, including set aside time slices for them, I will be playing frisbee every weekend, and remaining free time will be used to learn korean (especially the next two weeks) or to do some sightseeing in Seoul or Korea in general. Even the flight back to Germany is booked already!
I will not attend the buddy program this semester, which means less socializing (outside of the frisbee environment) and more time for a “sustainable” overview on the country. I already have similar feelings to the first days here back in August, where I knew nobody and had nobody to talk to, as most people left or are still busy with travelling or the lunar new year.

Apart from my journey to the Winter Olympics yesterday (a note on that coming soon), there is not much to write about so far. So see you soon!
